“Wolf is high-end, powerful kitchen equipment that is built to last”

Hobart Cooking Solutions has unveiled a range of heavy duty modular cooking equipment, the Wolf 900 and 700 series, which is only available to caterers through a limited number of dealers.

The arrivals deliver significant benefits in terms of performance, durability and lifecycle costs and also raise the bar for operators through the high quality of manufacture.

The new European style of the Wolf 900 and 700 series is robust and extremely reliable to satisfy the demands of busy commercial kitchens.

Working with Catercraft Catering Equipment in Brighton, the Malmaison Dundee, a new hotel which opened for business in February, is one of the first outlets to enjoy the benefits of the Wolf series.
John Woodward, Director of Food, Malmaison Hotel Group said: “It is a busy kitchen seven days a week and we have been impressed by the way the Wolf has been able to handle the heavy demands our catering staff are putting on it. It is also delivering good energy efficiency, which is important for us, and is a very stylish piece of equipment which adds to the visual appeal of the kitchen environment. It is early days, of course, but all in all, we believe we have made a very good choice with Wolf.”
Steve Martin, Sales Director of Hobart Cooking Solutions said: “The new Wolf range will set the industry benchmark for quality and reliability. It will also provide numerous benefits for caterers through the enhanced level of performance.

“Wolf is high-end, powerful kitchen equipment that is built to last – so it is a good investment for operators looking for durability and reliability over many years of use. It has been ergonomically designed and manufactured to deliver the performance that modern kitchens demand.

“It offers caterers a really attractive combination of product quality, equipment performance and operating consistency, because we know how important it is for cooking equipment to be reliable, as downtime is a cost that today’s businesses cannot afford.

“The Wolf range is very flexible and can be installed in any kitchen because it is available as stand-alone units or available as suited units. This allows the range to be tailored to the individual requirements of any chef. The range has also been designed to facilitate easy cleaning because hygiene is paramount.

“Energy efficiency is also a key feature of the new range because we recognise that the rising price of energy has now become a significant burden for many operators. The gas open burners feature our unique horizontal flame technology giving faster heating with less energy consumption.

“The stylish looks, clean lines and attractive aesthetics make it ideal for front-of-house and theatre style cooking where chefs want to demonstrate their skills in full view of diners.”

Over 100 years’ experience has gone into the design of the Wolf range: it is constructed from high quality stainless steel, features a laser cut top for a seamless finish and the 900 series uses a 3mm steel top which is above the industry standard.

Martin concluded: “The Wolf range will satisfy the requirements of every type and style of busy kitchen. As well as being robust and reliable, it has attractive lines making it ideal for theatre style cooking. The range is available in modular, stand-alone cooking units or can be suited in line with the specific needs of any chef. With low running costs and great after-sales support, Wolf offers the ideal solution and meets the evolving needs of today’s professional caterers.”

The Wolf series is a comprehensive cooking range that includes Oven Ranges, Induction, Fryers, Griddles, Chargrills, Pasta Cookers, Bain Maries, Bratt Pans and Boiling Kettles to meet the needs of all styles of catering outlets.
